	MCBURNEY REFRIGERATION LTD McBurney Refrigeration Ltd was specifically set up six years ago to accommodate the supply of haulage services for temperature-controlled goods. This company is primarily based in our Liverpool depot with other operational bases in Ballymena, Dublin, Naas & Listowel (Co Kerry). We provide a wide range of services for chilled and frozen goods including haulage, warehousing & storage and a consolidation facility. This allows us to provide a full logistics package to our customers. We provide our temperature controlled haulage services throughout UK, Ireland & Europe. In Liverpool, we have a cold storage facility capacity of 22,500 frozen pallet spaces and 5,000 chilled pallet spaces. The warehouse with a recent extension, which doubled its size, was completed with ‘state of the art’ mobile racking, heated cabs and radio data terminals. This cold store is located within our 12 acre site in Liverpool and is in close proximity to the docks and the major motorway routes. Our large fleet of refrigerated trailers are maintained to a high level and we have invested in specialised high cube refrigerated equipment (52 pallet capacity) custom built to meet our customers’ requirements. Our Liverpool depot is headed by Peter Rearden, who has a long history and wealth of expertise in the temperature controlled sector. He also has an experienced and hard working team behind him. We believe communication is a key factor so we have a dedicated customer services function which customers can access 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We have a bespoke computerised transport management and warehousing system, which incorporates a fully automated scheduling, fleet management, integrated cold store management and accounts system to help with the smooth running of the day-to-day operations. Our customers are provided with internet access, which allows them to get up to date information on their products held within the cold store. This enables them to improve their stock management systems. We have also developed an on-line POD access system, which aids our customers to improve their administration function. We have a dedicated IT function, which maintains and supports this facility and this adds real value to our customers. To contact us click _________
